Result Enquiry

Results for GP surgeries can be transmitted via a lablink (if the system is set-up to allow this function) which will allow immediate transmission of results. In all other instances Healthcare Professionals can contact the relevant departments shown below.

Patients will only receive results via their GP/Consultant. If patients telephone the laboratory they will be asked to contact their Healthcare Professional.

Please contact the relevant department for the result that you require.

In most cases when the results show an extremely abnormal result the GP/Consultant will be informed by the Biomedical Scientist that is validating the test.

Access to Pathology Results is available through the terminals that are located on the Wards and Departments. Please use this facility if available rather than telephoning the Laboratory . If you require training on this function please contact your line manager.
