Did you click a
link to view a pathology test and nothing happened? If this occured, it is not because our site is not working properly, but because you may have a "javascript" problem. Use our test
button to help determine if you have this problem. Click on this button
and a small popup window should appear (that
is similar to our test results). This window should show a picture of the
hospital and some text. If the window is empty, or there is no
window, you will need to enable this popup window to function. Our web site uses javascript extensively, so you will need to enable your browser to handle javascript functions.
There are three primary reasons why you may not see these popup windows in Internet Explorer. (If your are using Firefox,
see below.)
Browsers may vary
in the exact sequence and wording, but here is how "scripting" is enabled and
disabled in Internet Explorer Version 5.0, 5.5, 6.0. Other browsers
should be very similar.
1.Click "Tools", and then click "Internet Options".

2. Click the "Security Tab" at the top of the window.
Click the
"Custom Level" button.

3.Scroll
almost to the bottom to the section "Scripting" with
sub-section "Active Scripting". (Not the section
"Scripting of Java Applets".) Select "Enable". Click the
"OK" button.
4. Click the "YES" button for, "Are you sure you want to change the security
settings for this zone?" Click the last "OK" button.

5. Now make
your browser "Refresh" or "Reload". This will load the new settings.
Now, click
the test button at the top of this page to see if the popup window appears and is filled
with information. If desired, you can use the same process to "disable" scripting again
when done.
Firefox
Browser
Firefox is slightly different. If you are experiencing
blank pages or recently updated pages are not showing, the following may help.
In Firefox's browser, click on "Tools" on the main menu
and then "Options". You may also
need to clear your "History" and "Cache" folders. This removes old pages
and allows new pages to be viewed.
Here are some tips about using the search database on the Pathology site.
Below is the first screen you will see once you have clicked on the search tests option.

Below is the screen that will appear once you have input your test parameters.

We hope that the information on this page has helped and made your visit to our site easier.
